A New Website

so guys I wanna build a new website and wanted to know the cheapest domain+hosting service available. I am considering godaddy for both since I have a coupon code for them that gives me 30% off (thanks to someone on BHW itself).
Also since this is my first site I wanted to learn the basics using a info domain and free hosting that would cost me only $.99. How is this idea and what are their ads like (they say that for free hosting they show ads but they are not annoying or anything) ,I mean are they at the bottom,top etc.

I also want to install wordpress on the domain, how do i do it??? any vids, tutorials??? Also any ideas about which niche to exploit would also be helpful.

Try hostgator for the hosting. If you decide to add more domains later you can tack them onto the same hosting package. Plus if you are in the US the support seems to be great.

I second that HostGator all the way...their support is unrivaled. Plus its quite cheap month to month.

If that doesn't work I can hook you up with some cheap very good hosting (the guy is hosting me aswell and I never had any problems)

you can install wp via fantastico its really sweet and easy
