IM Journeys section has the following rules:
Therefore, no Live-building Journeys seem possible, as obviously it would be seen also as "shilling your own product".
However, it may be interesting to allow "live-building journeys" in a different section, restricted to SEO tools (or to tools that may be useful for the BHW community).
I guess that many people here have a developer background. They obviously may have new ideas of tools that would be beneficial for the community.
Offering the possibility to them to "live-build" their product in the appropriate section and to get a permanent flow of feedback regarding their process and their tool would be interesting.
As it would also be used as "self-promotion" in the end - at least for the successful journeys - it would sound reasonable to implement a strict control of new threads and to implement a commission system beneficial for BHW.
For instance, the rules may state that the product's owner commits to pay back BHW 10% or 20% or revenues linked to BHW's user subscriptions. It seems to be a win-win deal.
Concrete example
To give a concrete example, let's imagine that the owner of the well-known Scrapebox started his tool by live-building his product here, on BHW.
Benefits for the community
In short, with such a forum section, BHW would act a bit as YCombinator applied to SEO tools: a kind of investor or startup accelerator, except that they don't have to invest money. Instead, they allow the projects they like to be live-built here on the forum.
