Just a little note for everyone trying to break into IM. Don't over think things or expect the world right off the bat. You need to take the time to understand how IM and SEO works before you move forward. Don't expect to come on BHW and buy your way to success, it won't happen. If you do not understand the way the whole thing works, you will not even know what types of services to buy. Chances are you will buy some shit service and get frustrated and give up to quickly. Proper IM is not a sprint, it's a marathon. If it was easy everyone would be doing it.

If you're going to buy a service make sure you read all of the posts in the thread. Once you get past the 50 or so "I'll take a review copy", see if people are posting positive results. Don't fall for the sales pitch and the pretty graphics. It's easy to get caught up in the hype.

Nobody here is going to hold your hand and tell you how to make money. We will give advice and pointers, but we all have our own methods. There is no cut and dry method to ranking. We have our basic starting points, but you have to constantly test and make updates. It's an ongoing battle with Google and other SEOs/ Marketers. I've been doing SEO for 7+ years and I still read and watch videos daily. Do research and find what works for you. Put in the work and you will succeed.

"Good luck, we're all counting on you."

Thank you for walking us through how to best approach selecting the right SEO services. It is much appreciated.

The most important thing is to not spend all your time on Black Hat World. Get your hands dirty, get into the mix, take risks and allow yourself to make mistakes. Make yourself known in your niche and actually become a part of something you're passionate about.

Creating 1,000 sites on various topics that you outsource everything about is soul sucking. I know, I've tried. But be passionate about something and put serious focus on making it a well-oiled machine, and it will work out in time. Or maybe it won't. But you'll never know until you attempt.

THIS!

I absolutely love this site, but as soon as I hit the $600 per day mark, I stopped coming here. As that gradually began to slow down to a bare $30 per day, I realised how much I missed chatting here. There is a TON of great info and ideas here, but at some point you've got to log off and start working on those ideas.

Also, as far as "get ranked fast" services. If it sounds to good to be true, it is. You could make way more money if you had some magic ranking sauce than you can selling magic ranking sauce.

You must be a very nice person in real life. people should be lucky to have you with them. Thanks, this matches my thinking, i just want to be here in IM, i will learn and prosper, i will fail and win, no matter what, this will not work. Only way to succeed here is being creative, testing your thoughts, enjoying yourself when you get some new idea, thinking big n acting big, being open to expand knowledge.....

ps: im also newbie but i understand the difficulty.

Thanks, I appreciate that. My wife, daughter, and dogs seem to like me. haha. I wrote this because there are so many fake seo "gurus" and scams that it's starting to piss me off. Everyone deserves a chance to build a business without getting screwed over. There is plenty of money to go around so we should do what we can to motivate the next group.

Thanks for sharing it but I never know why people think that SEO will dead.

The only people that say that are people that failed at SEO and now call themselves "bloggers". :) If SEO is dead then why do I get to work from home in my pajamas?

Always great advice, especially with this realization finally catching up with so many would-be marketers. Doesn't mean it can't be done; but if you don't want to burn out, you need realistic expectations.

thanks for the advice..i am new to this and i want to make good money sitting in my bedroom and taking money of those who are going to work everyday but i realized that i will have to do as much or even work harder than them even if i am sitting in my bedroom....so im prepared for the challenge.

its definitely true that nothing good comes easy

Thanks for the straight forward message. Hope it encourages other people to succeed in the IM world.
