Is your site added to google webmaster tools? if so any errors? use screaming frog to check your new domain to see if there is anything you have missed (no index, 404s etc)
A Massive Rank Drop

Yours are normal. The other case study I read on a few blogs. They are losing rank after a couple of days. And the traffic drop gradually, not massive though.
But mine, well... so different. Doing better, then sunken.
When are your traffic and SERP going back to normal?

Yes. No errors. Checked all the link using httpstatus.io. Double check if every redirect was done properly.
Here's what happened:
- June 18: Domain migration is done
- June 19 - 27: Everything goes well. The rank even better on the new domain. From 5-10 average to 1-5
- June 28: One money page dropped to page 5 on 10 am then going back at 9 pm
- June 29: Every competitive keyword dropped. As you can check on the above screenshot

A major desktop database update was detected by SEMRUSH in your given time period. My website also lost some ranking during that update. 26 to not found, 52 to not found etc etc. I think you and i should stay put as it will come back to its previous stats if not better.

Have you experienced something like this before? it's been 2 days since I lost a majority of my ranking.
Does it affect the majority of your SERP?

I agree with most of the replies here - rank drop is expected after migration. That recent Google update may have contributed as well. But it should be temporary though, give it time.

I do agree if a rank drop is expected. But I am confused, how come the drop is so sudden. From usually 40-60 users active in real time stats, become just 0-6.
Also as you can see on my images. The drop is too massive, compared to the others which are gradually dropped, not a sudden.
I hope it's temporary. I do really hope so. I've put so many efforts in looking for a good domain, spent so many times in writing hundred of thousand words articles.
The Google update is on early June, right? @SuperSonicProxy

Bro lately my SEO customer moved his website from drupal to wordpress. First it was really good in rankings 2-3 days then the site dropped to second page. In 2-3 weeks time the site recovered and come back to original serps.
The only difference is they didn't change the domain name just the website cms. So i would suggest you to wait for about 2-3 weeks before you do anything else. Maybe ping the site from GWT and add some new content.

I am hoping to come back to previous position or better within a week or so. Since mine is brand new website and no aggressive link building has been done and still got the hit. So I believe it's just a regular google update. Something we don't have to worry about.
In your case, this could be it.
SO, do a site audit for checking backlink profile. Make sure you don't have something Google hates. If you have no problems with that, well, there is nothing to worry about

Yes, the only option for me right now is just waiting. But my migration case here is strange, not like the others.

What widget is that? SEMRush?
How bad your drop is? is it something like from Page 1 to Page 5 or 10?
One more thing that I forgot to mention. My keywords totally dropped on June 29th and most of my links that coming from the old domain with 301 redirects is on June 28th. I don't know if this contribute to the drop or not. How do you think @imonboss ?

Forgot to mention that after the migration, I changed the theme and put Ezoic. I don't think if these changes have an effect as the content is just the same.
The drop started on June 29th and all backlinks from the old domain appeared on Search Console on June 28th/29th.

I hate watching these red marks .. just a few weeks ago 10 of my KWs were ranking in Top 10 as per Serprobot and now only 2 of them sit there.Oh, I didn't know this.

Thats the problem with Google these days. Nobody has any clue what the fuck is going on or what they are about.
You changed the domain, regained rankings and BAM SUDDENLY out of nowhere you lose all your traffic and rankings and nobody knows why. And no one can tell you what exactly happened, why it happened and how long it takes until you get the rankings back, if (!) you get them back.
Since they use Rankbrain and other AIs it doesn't make any sense anymore. Like...what is this about? Why would they suddenly push your website out of the rankings, while ranking it very well before?

Suddenly my website ranked really well, but all of the sudden, after two weeks, it was sent straight to page 7,8 or 9, where it still stays (more than 5 months now!) and NO single word from Google on what the heck this is about. I would really like to hear a statement from Google.

I guess its random. I made some really relevant and high quality websites in some niches, which ranked well in the beginning (first month) and then being sent to page 7 for months. Meanwhile lots of random shit, sometimes it got nothing to do with the topic is on page 1 and 2. How is this possible? The algorithm DOESN'T rank the most relevant websites, otherwise my websites wouldn't stick on page 7 for months.
It is extremely important for us to figure out whats going on and how to prevent this kinda drops to happen.
