A little help regarding Interspire

I'm new to Interspire, and i've uploaded it on my shared hosting account yesterday.
So far so good, i've installed it perfectly, imported contacts on it, created a new campaign; but when i try to specify my own SMTP server details no matter what SMTP i use from my list, which actually works with AMS i get the following error:

A test email has not been successfully sent to the email address: Unable to connect to mail server: Connection refused(111).

I believe my hosting plays tricks on me, and doesn't allow me to use this software.

Can you give me an advice and provide me some good host names working good with Interspire?


Any help or constructive idea will be gladly appreciated.

U must have entered wrong smtp details

What type of mailserver did you specify??

I'm pretty sure you can specify a mail server, or use the inbuilt PHP function.

If you've installed it on a web hosting server, that may be your best option.
