Like 4 days ago, my website got hit by a malware attack. I don't know what happened but my google webmaster tool was screaming that there are malwares on the pages of my website but it didn't list any pages that were affected.

I checked all the codes and plug-ins and asked for a malware review request. Everything went fine and now my GMT is saying that my website is free from malware but the traffic became really low. I'd like to know if I should buy a new domain and 301 redirect it.

Any remedy for this kind of tragedy?

Thanks!

bump, anyone? Should I buy a domain and redirect everything?

Ya, you could try that.

Did you try contacting your host provider? Perhaps they could help.

Hope it gets sorted out.

Everything is okay now. It is the traffic that I am only worrying about. I started losing 1-1.5k Unique Views per day.

When you get hacked, you sometimes rank for the phrases you were hacked with. I'm assuming it was the typical pharma or fake chinese import hack?

They will sometimes throw links your way too, redirect users, etc. You weren't specific about the hack.

So website owners rank for these phrases, the fix and remove the hack, and then they lose traffic for those phrases. You have to identify if the hack was the reason for the traffic.
