I know some of us here are interested in advertising on Pinterest, but unfortunately we reside in countries that are not yet supported.

If you're one of such persons like myself, don't go with a VCC. Or, if you must, don't run the advert with an account you've grown.

Pinterest would deactivated your account and ask you to verify yourself ad the VCC. This verification often requires taking a picture of the card while you hold.

The long story short is, the verification is impossible to complete. I lost an account that I grew to over 2m monthly impression that was generating close to 1k click to my site.

Don't be like me.

Either you don't do it at all, or you use card(preferably non-VCC) that has your name and everything matches to make verification easier for you.

Another thing, from my little experience, Pinterest ads aren't that great. It's better to manually grow your account and start getting organic clicks from the platform. Though this is harder now than before.

If you're in a country unsupported by Pinterest ads, avoid using a VCC as it may lead to account deactivation and an impossible verification process. I lost an account with 2M monthly impressions due to this. It's better to use a card with your name or focus on organic growth, which can be more effective than ads anyway, despite being harder now.
