A Little Advice on Article Frequency?

Hello all, I have a question that I can't really seem to find the question for. I want to publish 300-500 articles on my site.

I could get all of these articles finished within a week. My question however, is how would I go about publishing these? I want to get them published ASAP and publish them all in a week, but from what I've heard, you could incur a penalty if you publish too many at one time. So can I publish them all at one time, or should I span them out over a course of 2-4 weeks?

I would not post them all at once, I understand you want them on your site ASAP but I would post two a day for the next few months.
Plus that will show Google you are consistently updating your site which definitely helps rankings from my own personal exerience.

As per my knowledge , you can try to post one or two articles per day. Don't try to put all articles in a single day.

But in reality, whether we're talking about a news website or not, I won't recommend you to publish all those articles at once. It's unnatural. Haven't you noticed already that search engines, not just Google, raise an eyebrow to anything that's not natural?

On the other hand, it's a totally different story if we're talking about spun content.

It depends and the content and velocity you keep. dont just start and stop right away. throwing all at once might not help you in this! dont be urge and keep a stable post velocity and based on the number post them in regular interval. once you have started to see some movement in SERP or GI increase the count. There is nothing artificial and natural until you reveal them. I have seen blogs that had 200 posts in a month which are still ranking and getting tremendous traffic. :happysad:

You could release a couple of those article (50+) dated back (with a daily gap) and then release the rest one at a time every two days. That way you'll have people hooked and beliving you've been around a while

Why would you want to publish all of them at once? I would schedule them over a few weeks or months, or get a VA to do it for you!

Yeah, the content is completely unique and hand-written. It's not a news site, however. Rather, it's what you would call a repository in a sense. Regardless, I'll follow your advice and I'll slowly publish them!

300-500 articles in a day ?? Not a good idea. You are going to use some seo tool right ? I would publish like 5-10 articles a day and continue the process for weeks and months until the job is done. 300-500 articles a day is just too riksy i guess ! never tried that

Are u planning to just post them, or do it the right way? When I say "right way", I mean do on site seo, insert some images, youtube vides, use bold text on some part of the text etc etc..
Taking it that you want to properly post them, it would be IMPOSSIBLE to post more than 10-15-20 per day, cause personaly I loose around 20-30minutes to post an article, but I do everything perfect, with tags, interlinking, external linking, picture, youtube video and much much more.

One WELL formed article is much better than 10 copy/pasted (even if unique/orginal), it's probably a waste of time if you don't optimize them before posting...

Not in a day, but in a week's time. But yeah, the whole 1-10 articles a day plan seems pretty doable as opposed to what I wanted to do.

Of course! All of my articles consist of at least 3 images, 1 youtube video, proper interlinking, proper headings (h1, h2, and h3), and to top it off, at least 500 words, and an average of 600 words (all unique). I do so by processing everything in a more streamlined fashion, as in, I create all of the headings for all of the articles, then the videos, then the pictures, content, etc. I may lose some quality in doing so, but it helps me stay on track when it comes to the task at hand, and it doesn't disrupt my workflow if I do it like this (for example, rather than opening YouTube up to find a new video after every article, I could open YouTube up once, do all of the YouTube work for all of the articles, and then be done with that. I can then focus on other tasks. It's more efficient in my opinion).

Thanks for the advice, however. I may not need seo advice, but I am sure there are several new people out there that will definitely need this kind of information.
