Just got a letter from google today for about 10 of my sites getting sandboxed and aguess the problem wasn't in links but in the sites content and structure or something please read below and share your thoughts, what should I do? I had custom joomla sites developed for me, should I just install fresh wordpress and put some content on it without affiliate links? I think thats my best shot:

whats funny is that all of my sites got sandboxed at the same day.. they all got different templates as well..

Are you stuffing your pages with keywords? What on there do you think they don't like?

no way why would I do that, I aint no newbie, been doing SEO for almost 2 years now, have always gotten great results I'd probably be making over a million bucks a year if it wasn't for google sandboxing..

Give us more info on wat u might be doing wrong???? Content???

Do you link your to your other sites from this site in question?? Are you putting outbound links in your footer? Give us more info and we can help you figure this mess out.

no, not linking to any of my other sites, never had links in footer, hosted on different accounts, got no relation to each other..

If you use adsense, there is a connection....

Here's some questions that would help us all figure it out:

1. Is it an autoblog or have unique content or spun articles?

2. Are they all using adsense?

3. How many pages on average of content?

4. Are you promoting anything like gambling/pharma etc.?

5. Are you linking to affiliate offers?

6. How many ad banners per page?

7. Is the content readable?

8. When you look at the pages do they look overly promotional? Like all you're doing is trying to get a bunch of keyword traffic only to promote an offer.

This will help us get a better idea of what happened to you. My guess is your sites may have been linked together via your adsense account.

So what are you doing wrong? I'm sure you know what it is. They don't just ban/hurt sites for no reason. Are you using scraped content? Is the content of low quality? Is it auto generated content?

Hey Smolodoy,

What do the sites have in common from Google?

  • Adsense?
  • Google Analytics?
  • Some other Google based commonality?

Smol, I believe there is something common to your sites
that you may not be thinking of...

Hali~!:)

so funny google send letter
where did mr g know your email contact and know all your site
damn good trick to mock up someone

common people aint that stupid, been around the blog a bit and know whats up, never used adsense, nor google analytics, been buying links and using senuke and AMR only, see not all of my sites got sandboxed but for the most part the ones that I was working did get sandboxed, my only thoughts, too many links but google says the opposite, who knows maybe they send this letter to everyone..

:werd:

What about the sites age?
How many backlinks are you getting a day? If link building doesn't looks natural you will get sandboxed of course.

Well here's a little hint I learned from Google :D
Contacting Google or Adsense, not that easy to speak to a real person.
BUT if you have an Adwords account and ask questions using that, they'll get back to you within a day!

Ask them to run you through what the problems are and with a little bit of luck they'll provide you with a list of what needs to be addressed!

I know that this may seem like an obvious suggestion, but I'd run down the list at QQQ.google.QQQ/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35769&hl=en through your web master account and see if anything you are doing stands out on the list.

(can't post links yet so QQQ to the right letters)

Is it possible that someone reported you & your sites? Can't imagine how they would get all 10 of your accounts if there wasn't any other common element.

this was a letter or an email lol ? I didn't got the point ... folks from big G actually use their resources to mail letters to peoples telling them '' hey you are caught '' ==)))?
