Most people make the mistake of starting with $0, the going gets really rough and long with no money to spend and they either give up or treat IM as part time income source alongside their 9-5 job once they start making decent amount of money, NO BUSINESS CAN BE STARTED WITHOUT CAPITAL, unless of course one is treating IM as a bear money source.

IM is the ONLY business that CAN be started with no money - there is free hosting providers out there, free .tk domains (that are shit but still), wordpress, blogger, etc platforms you can build your site on. You then take the forums, blogs, news sites commenting and drive traffic.. you can make money while investing nothing.. though it IS a lot of work. You can also start a free IG account and grow it big for free. There are ways but it takes time and a lot of work as you said.

I know, I did it myself to reach $0 to 5 figures per month with bare hands, an awfully slow Pentium-3 computer, an empty wallet and tons of opinions about me that I am a "Good for nothing" guy (*Boy). That post you quoted of mine isn't written based on facts, it's written based on wisdom, hoping that newbies who have money in hand shouldn't be afraid to spend it (Only after knowing where he/she should spend it).

I wish I had some money when I was starting, it would've taken a LOT less time to be where I am now. But no one was "Dumb" enough then to loan out some money to a 14-year-old. Though, I am grateful I went through those cold nights working for a dollar per job on MicroWorkers, pain is the best teacher.

I was the fucking horny hopper rabbit (I'm not talking about my avatar LoL) I did this mistake several times, without the certainity of knowing the cause, I always lose the motivation and even I developed "Fear of Failure". Thanks to some self-help books, friends I could realise many irrational believes that was the cause of my lost of motivation.

Second, another big mistake I did was to believe "naively" that you don't need money to be successful. Life teach me the lesson with big hits on my face, but hopefully now I'm aware of my mistakes
