I went ahead and asked this dumb bot the same. It told me it didnt use it but it did use it then confirmed it used email.

It could be an error but take it with a grain of salt, this is should be enough to be wary and consider leaving

They read it, that’s for sure. If they didn’t, the spam flagging won’t be that good. Google pretty much took it to the next level when it comes to classifying which email is spam and which isn’t. I still use gmail though hehe.

Back in the day when they took down a major well known link network (sold on a marketplace near us all wink wink) someone on G's side got proud and hinted that they used Gm data to do it.

Then when I connected the dots ( which others probably did too but didn't post about it ) lots of members called me crazy.

Some of us knew this a long time ago. The first time I did was around 2015. You and your siblings or friend may be discussing certain topic , then you open up your Chrome or YouTube , boom! Ads related to what you just discussed will start popping up like bunch of popcorns on hot fire gas.

Is that not wonderful! Google even listens to all conversations as long as you use any of their products.

That’s why I prefer Microsoft browsers. Totally free from snitching.

Emails would be a terrible data set for tuning a model.

First, emails are often private and sensitive information that should not be used for training models without proper consent and anonymization... It would be too easy to open yourself up for lawsuits and to randomize the nodes.

Second, emails are often unreliable and misleading sources of information that may contain phishing, spam, or disinformation... "Hey Google, how far away is the moon?... Well, Malayan--according to my crazy uncle Steve's chain emails, we've never been to the moon and it's just a projection sent from Alaska."

Third, emails are often not representative of the diversity and complexity of natural language. They may have specific formats, styles, and domains that limit the generalization ability of the model.
