A Good lesson in Life

I usually don't start lounge threads,but the experience had for past few days gave me the need to write this thread..
A guy who added in Skype..he bought few cards and sold the cards locally in his country{pakistan}..pinged a week before saying mother got sick and dont have money for food even,i said i don't have money and i dont give money to people..as he started calling me in skype 100 times a day..saying you can save my family..etc. I felt bad and said seems you have internet connection i dont want to throw $$ just like that .i will give you some small work as I'm making a new ppd site i wanted to write some basic titles and gens description ,i asked him to write for one post..he wrote in 10 mins showed me it was ok.i said write all posts i will pay you..he said ,if you can send me now i can exchange it with my local exchanger and buy food for my family..i said OK fine..and send $35 that's it..that's the last time he answered normally..he disappeared next day came and gave some BS reason..again 2 days disappeared and gave BS reason ..at last i asked write or give money back..he exactly copied some articles form same niche site and posted..i got angry started screaming on him for the whole week. whenever i ask about posts he says bro cmon chill you will get soon.now decided fuck that money it was my mistake when someone already in contact list saying family in trouble mom is sick..Said Good bye and keep that money as gift and deleted him
Lesson Learned :Never Help Someone Online..And Found out reason why they don't have normal life..its just because of their laziness

Sad story, but you should of known better, not to give money to strangers

Look out for number 1 in this world. Yourself.

This is not a good lesson in life, this is a lesson of lacking due diligence. With this example you gave, and the whole situation you've been through you might not help any other person ever, and maybe they will actually need your help. Change your perception and help people who really need, but make sure you know they are trust-worthy.

Definitely not a good post structure.

Yeah I never trust much guys from these countries. Done business with them many times and everything was ok, but also many times I have experienced they just want my money and do not want actualy work. Would never believe such BS story, I have heard so much of this sh on the street from guys asking you for money. I'd rather send some money to some charity I know and trust and not to some stranger.

That guy votes, and thinks he has a right to healthcare.

Similar thing happened to me with a Chinese guy a little while ago. It is unfortunate, but a life lesson nevertheless.

Too needy, playing a guild trip. It is not the country but the method.
I hope you won't update the thread with a pp dispute about the sold cards.

Helping people helps me sleep at night, I hope it does for you too and you will continue to help people. Just need to select the right people to help. Someone who receives help when down on his luck is a friend for life, someone who stalks you and doesn't stick to his word will bring nothing but trouble.

dude cmon i'm not gonna dispute or do such crap..i have deleted him..just let him go..I just shared my experience i,dont flame something here i never said something bad about the country..i said he is from pakistan nothing more..Im friends with everyone online..Just i shared my experience here nothing more..

I didn't expect you to start a dispute and your share can probably help others. Please reread what I posted.
Even rereading it myself I can't see any negativity towards you, there was no intent to do so either. But, if you perceived it that way I'm sorry.


EDIT: Just to make it absolutely clear. Poor countries have a higher risk but there are plenty of honest folks in those countries. What this guy did is put you on the spot and play the desperate game.
Method: First you (as in the scammer) make friends, build some trust. Then you pick something like children, parents or pets. Anything that creates emotion basically. Then you stalk someone because he is the ONLY person that can help you. (Apparently you don't have any friends in RL to help.) Then cash in. 35 bucks is peanuts to a western country but it is a month salary in others.

Some people will say you, as in pofigy, are a naive or stupid person to fall for these sorts of tactics. The reality is that it just doesn't fit in with your attitude towards others or life itself. The so called naive people are not naive, they are just genuinely kind people who can't even think of all the dirty tricks some of these scammers do come up with.
Please don't take this personal, all your original post did was show me you are a good person. Don't let bad people change your way of life.
