Suggestion for a good web hosting provider that's cheap as well?
good AND cheap, well, both are usually mutually exclusive, but I can personally vouch for:
I use Vidahost here in the UK for all my sites and they are superb. Best customer service I've ever received too.
It depends on whether you would like managed hosting or a virtual server. If you're skillful enough, digitalocean will do.
You can take us for a spin with a $1.00 - 30 Day trial, if you like.
I have using this hosting for 10 years and had a few very minor hiccups over the years. Tried Fatcow and a lot others but this place is my home. If you want to PM me I can guide you to them.
hostwinds are great
I could have gone with hostwinds or blueangel host since they are owned by bhw members.
I was trying to move my sites from one host to bhw marketplace preferred host so i contacted the owners of both hosting through PM but i'm surprised to see its been a week and i haven't heard anything from them yet.
Godaddy & Host Gator is the best for me.
I recommend host-stage.net.
I've definitely had good experience at hostgator
Servinio is really good. Been with them over a year, no problems whatsoever.
Yeah, Servinio is cheap and good to go but you may need to extend your bandwidth if your site starts receiving a huge amount of traffic daily..
You may want to check eleven2 they have cheap prices for the disk space and bandwidth that they are offering, plus you can use coupon codes and get their hosting packages at 30% off.
Funny to see how people are still recommending HostGator after they've been taken over by EIG - the shittiest hosting umbrella co on the earth.
I love greengeeks, 3 years of webhost unlimited domains, ddos protection, etc, for 179$ approx
+1 with Hostwinds. I moved from Hostgator to Hostwinds. Also, you can find lots of cheap but good hosting at WHT especially if your site is not that critical.
You need to go with a good hosting provider, like Hostgator. However, stay away from GoDaddy. I had some terible experiences with them
