A good Free and Paid Hosting??

I need to change my hosting. My website is currently hosted on 0fees.net free hosting for more than a year and a half. Recently it started showing some errors like overusing the mysql limits blah blah. I guess may e coz of some increase in the traffic . I am getting some 400 persons these days. Not on a very good keyword and no rank at all. So please tell me a better hosting both free and paid , I would have a choice. Thnx :)

For free hosting I use 000webhost.com, then I moved onto their paid service, hosting24 for one of my sites.

You should also checkout HostWinds for paid hosting, thats who BHW is hosted on, and I just got an account with them, cant give a personal review yet, but the reviews I've read have all been good.

Been with hostwinds for about a month now to host my SEO sites. I'm with quite a few hosts (to spread out my IPs ;)) and HostWinds are one of my favourite for support.

They also offer coupons if you are interested - 25OFFHW for 25% off VPS, 99OFFHW for 99% off first month shared.

Give it a go, haven't had any issues with them so far. I am on their highest VPS plan which is great as I run varnish etc.
 
I love http://www.Site5.com there MultiAdmin panel is awesome. My second choice is HostGator.
 
Free hosting: 000webhost
Paid Hosting: I've been using HostGator for a long time now, but i've heard good things about HostWinds
 
Stay away from Cirtex Hosting - they are incredibly bad.

The server has gone down each of the last three months and it was offline for about a week each time.

I am so glad that I moved my important sites off their server!

I personally use 000webhost for free hosting. They have costume cpanel.

I use Enetcloud for paid hosting and so far it has been very smooth.
 
I got a free site at blazinw org and its worked very well since i set it up. For paid hosting Im using ipage and it leaves alot to be desired. I did use 000webhost for a while and its not too bad but sometimes it was really slow.
 
Hostgator has always been reliable to me and gives great technical support. One time, when my sites got hacked, they resolved the matter quite quickly and recovered all of my content. True story ;)

Wow... free huh. That sounds too good to be true. What's the down side there? Injected ad's or something?

nah theres no catch, you can either host your own domain or use one of their subdomains, able to create 1 new sub every 24 hours, no ads.

I suppose their only catch is that its a crap service (but what do you expect for free)...load times are quite slow sometimes, and they wont be too happy if your doing too much traffic. But its really good if you just want it as a web 2.0 pointing to your main site, thats what I use them for.

Really its only a way to get you hooked to buy their real hosting, which I must admit I did once the free sites had served their purpose and I needed something more stable...their hosting is only around 5$ a month for the paid service, so its not bad.

HostGator. Cheap site, good service and the support seem to be quite helpful from my experiences.
