Hi all,

Today I'd like to present to you a particular case which I found while doing some research on what niche to dive into and what kind of content works/what the competitions might be doing.

And I came up to this:

Crazy Numbers.png

This is a website about animal facts - mostly pets, but it also has pages about fish, birds, etc...
As you can see from the highlighted numbers, the website has been around for about 8 months and has produced 5,200... doing a bit of math that turns out to be roughly about 23 articles per day.
Now, I haven't thoroughly read the articles, just gave them a quick look, and they all seem to follow the same pattern, with hundreds of articles named "Can dogs eat xxx?" listing the benefits of said xxx food, with a couple of images for article. The articles span from around a maximum of 600-700 words to a minimum of ~200 words for the less important stuff (like: "how intelligent are dolphins?").
The various articles I skimmed through are ALL written by the same person, most of them posted on the same days - like Sept. 2nd, 2020 - with about 30 minutes from one post to the other.

The sheer number of views is given by the fact that they have (or claim to have) 13 FB groups, with each group being about a different dog breed, and them sharing the articles with these groups.

Now, granted I'm an almost complete noob in the field and know close to nothing, writing 23 articles/day (complete with images) seems a bit too much... there's clearly some generated content shenanigans going around.

What do y'all think?

Chosen some very easy keywords, done some really good interlinking ( a lot of sitewide links )

Give it a shot and do it for like 2 weeks to see if it's gonna work for u. btw , what tool is that?

That's definitely some custom coded content generation tool!

From the picture you posted, traffic tanked, and so did earnings. The conclusion is that it didn't go so well for them after all. Regardless of the goal, the method was not sustainable.

They claim they stopped sharing their posts to the FB groups, which could be a fair reason why the traffic tanked so much.
I think is still a good way to get things going.... I only need to find a good tool :D

So the traffic comes from facebook groups and not from Google?

The cast majority seems to come from FB yeah... I suppose that with less and longer articles per month, with a bit more focus on SEO It can achieve good traffico from Google as well

How do you get so many backlinks?

That's not that many and the domain to link ratio isn't to shabby actually. Most would have been bought, at a guess.
