A Good Cache Plugin Wordpress

whats a good cache plugin that will honestly improve my sites performance and speed. free. i paid someone $10 on fiver and they installed a premium plugin that i got a good score of over 90. the second i take it out it goes back to low 80s. and i have W3 Total Cache on there but not premium. i took it out its got a cat icon on it on my main page and dashboard i have to see it everytime i go on my site. freaky looking cat, with fangs and drool, if i wanted to see that id buy a cat

You need several things besides a cache plugin but I've used em all and I use WP Super Cache the most.

Don't focus to much on the score, some caching plugins show a better score but they will slow your page down.
Focus on the page loading speed of your website.

This is gold.

Of all the cache plugin I tested, WP Rocket was definitely the best. If you have a couple of bucks to spare, use it on WP Rocket
 
I use total cache but I've heard good things about WP Rocket.
WP Rocket is not free though.

Put your site into GTMetrix and you'll find out where else you may improve.
Page insights is definitely helpful, but it's a little outdated atm.

You could look into a CDN like cloudflare as well.
 
As mentioned above, just plugin may not be sufficient, so some more details about what you do may be helpful.
 
can i rank pages with W3 Total Cache or any other free plugin. can i rank with a score of 83, am i gonna be ranked higher if im in the 90s
 
You should care more about site speed, than score in google page insights.

W3 Total is also a great cache plugin for WordPress. I have found this post https://goo.gl/BSUKcC on Google and hope this will help you.
 
WP Rocket is the best we've seen.
Tried w3total
WP Fastest cache
Lightspeed LSCache (using ls server)

wp rocket beat them all and great support.

i bought another fiver gig

the guy put WP File Manager and that smush pic optimizer plugin on my site

i got 99 for mobile and 97 for desktop if anyone wants to better their site

So there you were. Not always caching plugin can get you a great score. Anyway, WP Super Cache works great for me always.
