and how about a free method to keep your ratio up?! :)

after you start downloading a torrent just delete the tracker with your passkey after the peers joined to you and the tracker can't count the amount of data you downloaded/uploaded anymore, so it's technically a never-ending free leech :D
it works like a charm with utorrent 1.7.7

i used to do that for years when i had an internet connection with real slow upload speed (35k), because i didn't have any chance to seed back what i downloaded and i've never got caught

although if you have a fast connection, you don't have to use this trick of course, but sometimes it's handy :p

yea, it's a bit unfair tactic, so you didn't heard that from me ;)

Do you know if this tactic works with Vuze? I used to use utorrent but thought is was a bit unfriendly. For me Vuze was simply easier.

idk Vuze, i've never used it, try it :)
if you can edit the torrent, i mean if you can delete the tracker somehow after the peers joined, i guess it should work with Vuze as well
but for example it's not working with the newer versions of utorrent, although it's still working like a charm with 1.7.7 :)
