A game changer for domain typos

I know there's a big industry in typo domains, and people used this to gain some good traffic as piggy backing on big brands.

Today I noticed the Chrome bowser shows a notification when you type and navigate to a what seems typo domain, and this surely affect this industry.

On the other hand that's a safety feature for people do double check and not being affected by scam sites.

What's your opinion on this feature?

It's a safety feature for people to double check and not be affected by scam sites. I'm not sure if I'm being affected by this feature yet, but I think it's a good thing overall.

looks useful for common users, I can't say anything bad about it despite of how much I'm trying to find reasons to bash google for all of the evil in the world

It won't work in my opinion unless they show similar warnings on other TLD of popular domains.
Chances of people willingly visiting reddit.net is higher than accidentally typing reddio.com

This isn't new. Spelling correction in search has been going on for quite a few years, I know first hand with a one word domain I've had ranked years ago, and at some point say 13+ years ago things changed. The noun has (2) true spellings, both are valid and yet Gxxlg does not accept it- as of course they *are* the expert. lol.
