Hello,

I have a question to ask, I'm new to ClickBank, I don't have an account, but I'm planning to do some serious business if possible. I've read many articles here on the forum, and many said that in order to promote a product, I need a domain, a site to back it up, a landing page to be specific.

My question: why make my own landing page, if the product already has its own landing page? Shouldn't I concentrate on the mailing list, as in the emails that I'm going to send out to my list of contacts? You know, attract attention? Or should I make a landing page that goes to another landing page?

PS: Yes, I have a huge emailing list, that's the method I will be using.

I've scanned the forum, but I couldn't find a topic that would explain these details more precisely. Is there a topic I've missed? Please let me know.

Thank you for your patience and I appreciate you taking the time to answer this post.

the secret to affiliate marketing whether it's cpa or clickbank is one word: preselling

if you send your potential customers directly to a landing page without doing some preselling it will hurt your conversion rate

also when you use an email form on your landing page you can send them emails that make them return later and buy because its statistically proven that most people dont buy from their first encounter with a product

finally here is a free ebook that explain the science behind landing pages for affiliates*

best of luck :)

You can make your own landing page then put a link at the bottom or wherever and when they click it they go to the checkout page (skipping the products landing page) to actually order the product.

My conversation rate last month was 19% and this month it's 15%. I must be doing something right on my landing page.

Thanks everyone for the answers.

One more question, can I use their content (text, probably some images) from the affiliate landing page to copy on my landing page without a problem? Do I have to ask permission before?

Thank you!

I would be careful about that. Some will give you a whole landing page to use, though. Short term, it doesn't matter. Long term, duplicate content could be a problem if you're trying to rank a site.
