Before starting out, I have a youtube account grown organically with interactive subs that was never botted before. It's currently sitting at @ 5k subs and it's growing and it brings me roughly 300 dollars a month (the account is 6 months old in the gaming category)
I have created 2 other channels to test things out. One, surprisingly, had a bit of success but I decided to use some of the services sold here on the Marketplace since this was it;s intended purpose (but one video "blew up" without me even realizing)
I'm not claiming I am an expert, but I got very familiar with the analytics provided by both youtube/creator studio and the adsense one. After buying some of the top services sold here and comparing my organic views/comments/likes/subscribes from m legit account to the ones that were bought for the alt accounts, I have realized that even the "high quality" views/comments/likes/dislikes have problems:
1. VIEWS - Audience retention graph!
I'll mostly talk about high retention views here since I bought those more often. These views tend to all end at the exact same time (or very close), leaving a very clear mark that bots were used. If any of you ever had a video grow organically, you'd see the graph under "Audience retention" being all over the place,whilst the bot ones make a very "linear graph" that clearly indicates the usage of bots. There's no bumps, not parts of the video that shows people "jumped to". My theory is that being high retention is not enough to rank anymore and Youtube found out a way to predict which views are botted and which ones are legit. (especially since Google is slowing integrating machine learning [AI] into their services.
Proposed solution: make the views be a bit more sporadic. If the same source of high retention views watches exactly 3 minutes of a 5 minute video, it's going to stick out more than a sore thumb. Instead, the views should be placed within a certain % of a video to seem more sporadic.
2. COMMENTS & LIKES
This one along with the likes is one of the worst offenders. Even the best services here tend to send comments (and likes for that matter) in a very short amount of time. In reality, likes and comments tend to happen over time. The algorithm can easily detected that a certain video get's a bunch of comments and likes all thrown at the video in a very short timespan. For this, I tested a few hundred likes from one of the services on the Marketplace and they were all delivered within a span of maximum 2 minutes.
Proposed solution: adjust the comments and likes to be sent over a longer period of time (at least 6 hours depending on the number). Having 200-500 or 1000 comments all posted almost at the exact time will look shady as heck. Other people won't see the mintues and seconds the comments were posted, nor the likes, but I'd be surprised if youtube does not have a way to see this.
That is basically it for now. I will post more as I test things out. I would have included some graphs but I have them on my Creator Studio Androp app and for some reason desktop youtube does not let me see the analytics of an individual video anymore (stupid new theme changed too many things).
