I've opened a Shopify store and bought a logo and a banner. I've put 120 niche related products on my website and opened a pinterest, facebook and reddit page.
I started paying for some ads on Facebook but no purchases so far. I target them specifically and hope for the best. So far I get 50-80 visits a day.
My questions are these:
1. People usually go for the "item is free, just pay for shipping" kind of thing. I'm having my doubts about this and I was wondering, what if I just make all the items a bit more expensive, but shipping will be free? Would that also work?
2. I opened a pinterest page, and added a bunch of my items there, but how do I drive traffic from there?
3. I'm going to open a G+ and twitter page also. Are there any tutorials on how to target people on those social media platforms?
4. I was think to open a youtube channel, buy a video from Fiverr and promote it under my niche's keywords, would that be a good idea?
5. What are some great, unknown shopify secrets, or tips I can get to help boost traffic and finally make my first sell?
