I have a few very narrow targeted websites, not too much traffic, however steady. At this point I don't even have to do anything, it just works by itself. I've just checked a few online retailers that sell products that would interest my traffic & most of them work with CJ, so I'd like to basically make an account & get it rolling, don't expect too much out of it at this point, but I'm pretty confident some sales will follow through.

Questions:

1. I see you have to fill up an application to be approved at CJ. Any specific requirements? I don't want to get rejected for some stupid reason. Do they check the information you fill up here? Like monthly traffic?
2. Since I have more than one website, do I add them later to this account or I need to open one for each? Can I just use my affiliate link wherever I want & get away with it or they only pay commission from specified websites only?
3. Most of these stores also have their own affiliate program. Does CJ pay the same thing or less? I'd rather have one CJ account for all of them, less headache.

1. CJ will look at your information, but will not verify info such as monthly hits, etc. They will verify your personal information such as name, SSN, etc. (Simply submitting the tax form is verification)

2. You have the ability to add individual sites to your account. This is not necessary since CJ has always paid me no matter which domain it was directed from. You may be able to use the different sites on your account for tracking purposes.

3. This will vary with each advertiser. I would just go with CJ and not worry about the individual in-house affiliate programs.

Usually CJ pays MORE because companies are going head-to-head in its respective affiliate category.
