Hey guys,
I had an AdSense account that got banned roughly 9 years ago due to click fraud.
I haven't really touched anything AdSense-related ever since until I started a blog recently. I applied to AdSense with a fresh e-mail, fresh computer, fresh ISP, etc. (things changed in 9 years obviously) but the same address (our block number changed though, so that's slightly different) and the same phone number as I kinda forgot about the whole AdSense ordeal I had almost a decade ago.
I have a working AdMob account for a few months now, (never got payments though) and AdSense also got approved on my domain recently. That being said, I don't have high hopes as I know that bans happen when the first payment is going through.
I wasn't intending to really use AdSense for my site anyway as I will be going for Ezoic when I have enough traffic (which requires you to be in good standing with AdSense to serve you ads even though you technically don't have to be AdSense approved).
My questions are :
1) If I remove the ad code and my domain from my AdSense, would I save my domain from an AdSense ban in the case that my account gets banned before hitting the payment threshold?
2) Would I just get end up getting banned from Ezoic anyway as Google would find out it's me? (Ezoic asked me to send a form to Google to apply for Ad Manager or something like that, and I used the same info)
As I still have some way to go in terms of traffic to be able to actually test with Ezoic and see if I get banned on the first payday, I rather not commit the resources to a dead project, which is why right now I'm just trying to reach the AdSense payment threshold to see if they are going to ban me or not, but I'm not sure if that's a smart idea if I can avoid this whole thing by never getting paid through AdSense.
