Hey guys, totally new to the game!

I just started up a small shop and it's been doing alright, howeve, I'd like to increase profit.

I've been reading around on the site for the last week or so, and have found some really amazing techniques that I've implemented, and so far it's been giving me a lot more traffic than before.

However, there are some questions still left unanswered, and hopefully I can find some clarity through this post.

First off;
Scrapers, I think I get the point of them, getting keywords (or websites using these keywords?) to later use in your website. But what exactly am I supposed to do with whatever information I get from my scraper? And which keywords should I focus on?
(The shop I'm running is mainly electronics, but I also have a clothing/accessory section.)

Secondly;
Backlinking.
I understand the concept, and I've used a freeware called QuickBacklinks from Bottopia, where all I have to do is pretty much load a list and it does everything automatically. My question for this though is, how can I create my own link list to create even more backlinks?

This is all for now, but I'll most likely stumble on more things that I havn't quite figured out yet.

Thanks in advance,
zandman.

P.S If you have any software you'd like to suggest me using, please do so, all help is appreciated!

Welcome to the game dude.

Your questions should both begin to make more sense, once you realise that they are related to the same process.

What I mean is that scraping is mostly done to create a larger list for link building.

For example, you'll put this footprint into your scraper:
Code:
keyword "Notify me of follow-up comments?" "Submit the word you see below:"

You'll eventually have yourself a rather large list of URLs you can visit and manually place your link on, through a comment.

Once you have a bit of cash, you can import this list of URLs into an automated link builder like Scrapebox or GSA Search Engine Ranker, and it will make the comments for you automatically.

Make sense? Good luck!

Thank you for that great explanation, it really makes it a lot more understandable!

Do you have a preference, Scrapebox or GSA? And do you use these software as both a scraper and for backlinking?

Thanks again!

I only own Scrapebox currently, so I don't have much to base my preferences on.

I know from seeing the reviews that they are both excellent products. I'm pretty sure they both have scraping and link building capabilities, but as the name suggests, "Scrapebox" is more geared towards scraping, and GSA to link building.
