Hi, I'm new to SEO and this is my first time.. I'm doing a KW research before i start but i found a facebook page on #1 with the KW that i would like to use.

How hard is it against a facebook page that is on #1? The facebook page has the KWs in the url, and the page post every day a new post with the same content and KW in it. The page also have a PA of 1 and 1000+ page likes. Would it be hard to beat the facebook page with a website?

Thanks:)

Yeah, you should definitely go after that. If the rest of the top 10 look easy, and you can monetize a site in that niche, then go for it.

If your competition is just a Facebook page, you can BLOW THAT SUCKER OUT OF THE WATER.

By simply making sure that you have a solid and fairly thick content, you should do well.

You don't really need heavy duty link sources.

Decent backlinks, plus heavy duty content should do the job.

You have to remember that Facebook pages that have higher ranks tend to rank high for branded keywords.

Unless you're targeting a keyword that is specifically branded by a particular Facebook fan page, you should be fine.
