You'll never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine - John C. Maxwell
I don't know who this guy is, however, I do believe that your daily routine is one single factor that is powerful enough to change your life for the better.
I've never followed a routine for at least the last 11 years (that's when I finished my high school). I am 29 years old guy working tirelessly to turn my dreams into reality. I have a vision, a plan, and all required skills, however, I've never had a fixed routine to execute things accordingly. This results in less motivation to get things done on time because I'm always confused about where do I start from.
Moreover, my current lifestyle has also impacted my mental and physical health. I'm always stressed, smoke a pack of cigarettes everyday (for the last 12 years), absolutely no physical activity for a long time. This must change!
I've decided to make my health #1 priority - no compromises. They say that it takes 21 days to form a habit and another 69 (total 90) days to form a lifestyle.
So, starting 20th Feb, I've decided to make some dramatic changes in my lifestyle (including daily routine).
I've already planned an amazing daily routine on a notepad file. Now I just need a smartwatch that would act as a personal assistant to me.
Goals:
Daily aim:
Completing twice the amount of work in as little time as possible. This is easily achievable if I don't get distracted and plan my "Things to do today" a night before.
