A Desperate Newbie!!!

Hiya all,

I have a few things to discuss and probably need help on. Here it goes I am 32 years old who lost a job very recently and on the verge of getting married. I am unable to get a job for the last couple of months, and I don't think I would anyway. Its been a bummer all through these years.

I guess you all get the gist of it, down on my luck and well battled and lost.

I need help in understanding IM and making money out of it. I have read over and over again all the years to understand and make money; however, unable to make the same. You could consider me an idiot, as I have tried with the skills of freelancing and it seems I get to do a lot of work for scamsters; and I dont get paid.

What I would really want to know is:

1) Anybody out there who could guide me out and be a mentor. I know its a lot of asking but I guess somebody might just help me!
2) Frankly, I am left out with a couple of hundred dollars and I don't know how to use, so any suggestions on the same?
3) I am not looking at making money instantly, I do know its a long shot
4) Help!! I am desperate and I have no clue what to do!

First of all, I'm sorry to hear that.

Second, it may sound a bit rude but no one's gonna guide you, that's how IM works. There's nothing that requires inhuman skills or education. If I were you, I would put those few hundred dollars aside and start reading, take a week or two, or even a month, go to general sections & learn what's money making is all about. If you can't understand some terms, just Google it, everything can be found in there. Don't spend that money yet, read read read.... Than go to Money making section and stick to the method that seems easier/better for you. There are long and short term methods on this forum.

If you're patient and willing to work, soon you'll make money.

Read as much as you can about seo, grab a vps loaded with tools and implement the knowledge you've gained from the readings.

OP, everyone comes here to learn some come here trying to be spoonfed, nevermind ..whatever you do just always remember this is a darkworld no one will help you , thats how things work...everyone is selfish and mean this is an competetion , if you dont do what you gotta do you quit.

Well, if you're from USA/UK I have a $5,000 budget if you find me some clients. Every paying client brings you $50. It is really easy, you just need to know people. You probably have fb, right? How many friends there, how many having their own business? Got it? You know how to find me

Good luck with everything - it may take you a while to get up to speed with everything. As other people have said - get working on your site, the best way to learn is to do!

Entrepreneurship is not last option for unemployed. Remember that.

I'm afraid there is no quick fix here for someone just starting out.
I have been on this forum for a few months now and its only now that I am "Taking action"

First off! A thanks is in order.

So, thanks BHW and members all around who helped me get to where I am.

A quick recap on how it went from nothing to something and then to a few things and now aiming at larger things

With what I got on BHW and the few friends I made; its been a great if not frustrating, tiring, but eventually a successful ride. I have a successful Online/Offline business model working right now with clients lining up!

Spending a lot of time initially understanding stuff; and then pitching with a right attitude gets you to a ton of places. Though it was slow initially (say a few months ) finally, now I am seeing the results of it. Being persistent helps, it really does; coz we see a lot of people quitting just before reaching it.

Just wanted to post out here, as I was a desperate newbie one time, but now pretty slowly a entrepreneur.
