Alright guys im still kinda new in this, so have a few questions if someone would be willing to help.

1- My site is very poorly made theme wise, i made it quick with a WYSIWYG editor. If i change the theme and make it look appealing, but keep all tags intact(meta, h1,h2, etc) will i lose ranking?

2- Im building all backlinks manually and running out of ways to find places to get backlinks, i wont be using software yet, as this is kind of my support project that i will use the money earned to fund other projects(buying SB, etc), so any suggestions where to go for backlinks?

Its a decent niche, thats pretty competetive , im earning roughly $10-15 a day with adsense, but yet to make a product sale.

    1) If the code is the same, there should be no effect on your rankings whatsoever, as nothing would have changed from. This is why you should always structure/design your website in an external .css stylesheet. If you change the code but keep the tags the same, it may or may not have an effect on your rankings.

I've heard accounts of people having poorly designed sites with a massive visitor base and good rankings, wanting to increase conversions, changing the site's layout, dropping their first page positions, and losing like 90% of their visitor base.

    2) Perhaps you could tell us where you're currently getting backlinks, so that we can suggest other places?

    :).

Mostly from directories, articles submitted and social bookmarking, with a very few blog comments
