A competitor constantly filing copyright against me

i only do my own videos. all my videos are original and my content. however, this one channel continuously flags my videos across 3 different channels. i have submitted at leat a dozen counter claims and of course i prevailed every time. i dont really want to do the revenge thing anymore. i had kind of outgrown that. but these people do not respond to messages and i have had enough.

anyone know how to get rid of a channel? i make between $1250-$4000 a month on videos and this is putting my accounts in jeopardy, i feel, even if i win counter claims. actually, one of my accounts is suspended right now for 3 strikes. i had 2 appeals in when the third complaint came in. so i have another week or so to go beforei get that back.

If you know who it is, destroy them. This is not revenge, this is protecting your livelihood and it's perfectly warranted. Maybe use negative SEO and/or flood their channel with low quality bot traffic and obvious bot generated adsense clicks - that's probably going to get them banned or at least damage greatly their earning potential which would probably be enough. But you should do that only if you are sure they deserve it.

i am 100% sure who it is. that was my first thought was to send fake views their way. but last time i looked, it seems like none of those ways worked anymore

i had an old vagex account. turns out i have a bunch of old credits on there so i dumped them on some of their videos. i believe vagex is not adsense safe, right?

Vagex isn't AdSense safe, but what you should do is sue him for sending false copyright claims. He can also send you Vagex views.

Suing a person is not exactly an easy process. i am not going to go through all of that, just like nobody has ever sued anyone else when they actually DO steal their content. i am using vagex for exactly that reason. hopefully they lose their adsense.

they are not just targeting me, so they would have no idea who is doing it to them. basically, they are just trying to bully all of their competitors in the market because they are one of the bigger accounts doing it. i know they are not targeting me specifically, because they have done this to a couple of my friends as well. basically, it is them trying to claim if they are at an event, the content is theirs whether they filmed it or not

no, i cover combat sports. look, i am not trying to fool anyone. i dont do anything blackhat. i do everything on the up and up. they even flagged a video i shot myself in the gym that i am based out of that nobody else was at.

i know in here everyone is skeptical when people say they have rights to stuff, but i do. i originally found this place when i tried to do that stuff years ago. learned my lesson the hard way way back then and because i do have access to stuff legitimately, can no longer afford to gamble. no stolen videos, no bought views, no nothing. i cover the events, film them, post them on my website. period. they are mine.

To get rid of a channel is not an easy task, specially if they're using original content.

Are they using their own channel (rather than fake identities/channels) to send the copyright infringement claims (this appears on the strike information)? If so, multiple false claims can result in a ban.

they are a legit channel. one of the biggest in the market. they keep sending the claims from the same channel and i keep filing counter claims and prevailing.

this just started a couple months ago and theyhave been around for years. looking around, it is obvious they have made changes in their company structure, so i imagine this is being done by whoever took over. i had to deal with this before on the publishing side when i first started out by another competitor. basically, these people just try to bully new people and limit competition.

here is the thing....

i am almost the same size they are. however, i have several other smaller channels that i post a lot of extra content that is not really suitable for my own channel. they really don't mess with my big channel at all. it is the smaller ones. for example MMA fighter speaks at a press conference. me and 10 other people arethere recording it. i decide not to use it for my channel, but load it up to one of my offshoots. they flag it as their content. so, like i said, it is not their content. in fact, i dont know how they can even flag it since it is not even from the same camera.

but i am worried for the safety of my larger channel because the small ones keep getting dinged. even though i win every single time, is youtube gonna eventually take away my monetization because of constant claims? if i had to guess it is 15-20 in the last 3 months or so

Use forums to spread negative feedback about them and how they are doing wrong on their part.

You haven't answered my question. I believe that the content is yours, no need to keep repeating it.

But WHAT is the actual content they are saying is not yours? When you file a copyright claim, it can be several: the user reuploaded my video, the user uploaded one of my videos that is not on YouTube, the user infringes my trademark, name, image, song... etc.

You can also do this trick to them. The process is as follows:
You submit a copyright notification -> they appeal (like you do) -> and you have the option to sue them if you want to continue with the process.
Simply do that to them, they'll end up in the same scenario as yours. They can't do anything (like you can't either now), just wait the 14 days you (as a claimant) have to start a legal procedure.

Post about them on reddit. There is a subreddit for YouTube. Explain your story over there because YouTube check that subreddit and they will notice your issue.
