I came to a keyword with 30,000 searches monthly exactly and easy to rank, however, .com domain for it is taken (though no site exists), while .net and .org are available...

It's composed of two keywords, .com with dash is available...

What should I take?

I've been going with. Orgs lately and been having good results.

Some says org is a better choice. But the truth is never get a dashed domain if net or org TLDs are available.

.net/.org > dashed .com

In seo means and in domain value

totally .net or .org only for resale value.. no SEO difference

.net or .org definitely. I wouldn't use a domain with dashes unless you have no choice

be careful if you are planning to buy domain name with dashes.most often the search engine will just assume these are the same sites.so you might ended up sending free traffic to your competitors.

so just get .net or .org for that keyword

Personally I would avoid dashes. I agree with the rest of the posts....

.net or .org will both work just fine ;)

grab all 3, 301 the dashed .com and the .net to the .org

some people still think .org's are magically more trustworthy or charitable

domain names are cheap enough, and you can use the 301'ed names as buffers to a degree

I prefer to go

.com
.org
.net
Hyphenated
suffix
prefix

I have had the best results in that order..

brilliant post mate " tlds " are something Worth having a look at.

Dashes are fine and don't get penalized. That said I would go with the .net if it's available since it's easier for end users. Be careful about the process of investigating a url since its amazing how many registrars will lock a domain name that you casually look at.

.net, .org, .info if there aren't take another domain and create folder or subdomain with the key word

subdomains > subfolders if you're gonna try that arena
