A clickbank check problem - from Spain

Hi,

I got now one month and a half my first check from Clickbank! I went to the Sabadell Bank to receive the money in my bank account! Are almost 40 days from the day since I was to withdraw the money from the check, but even now I don't have the money in my account!

I want to know if someone from Spain has faced the same problem and how many days should I wait until I get the money! Or is a problem with the transaction?

I'm in Spain and get paid by bankwire. The money is always there the day after it says "Paid" in my account.

I did used to get paid by check but that was about 10 years ago, and I don't remember how long it took, but I certainly don't think it was that long. I'd ask the bank what the problem is and change your preferences to get your money by bankwire.

you should call up your bank.
once i wanted to cash a check from another country, and my bank actually forgot to deposit the money in my account, even though the check got cleared.
i called them up and then money was in my account right that moment

Banks usually takes up to 1-2 month to take your money in your account, so go to your bank and ask if something happens.

But go to the bank, "el que no llora no mama", so make they earn their expensive comision and work a bit...

I'm from Spain and use BBVA and Bancaja. BBVA have a 30 day policy on foreign checks. The reason is due to the "Nigerian Scams". They send you a check for than the amount you agreed. You give the bank the check. The scammers ask you to send the difference back so you do. Then a month later the Nigerian bank says the check is fake/no funds/etc. And you are out whatever amount you sent the scammers.

Last time I deposited a check, I had to chase the pank after 30 days and actually got paid 5 days after the deposit.

So yes, it is normal.
