A bot that improves your sites bounce rate

Would this be possible? A multithreaded bot that simply finds your site through google, then on different ips, it stays on your site and clicks around for 5 mins to an hour?

Do you think there's any future in user behavior data manipulation?

If you think that a bot that visits your sites from different proxies and stays on your site for some minutes will work then i think i can create it for free :) Want to add me on skype and make some tests ?

I think it Will work If: you use a lot of proxies and a lot of diferents keywords for the search in Google.
 
To answer your question, yes that bot would be quite possible the key is to find somebody to make you the bot or do that service for you.
 
It would also be good to not limit it to one source of traffic, if possible. If you could make the bot use different keyword searches in Google, enter the website in the address bar directly, and even visit different pages on the internet and follow a backlink to the website would be great. For the last suggestion, maybe the bot could have a text field where the user can paste in URL's that contain a backlink to the website.

Just some ideas...
 
But how do you guys think G would treat traffic from proxies, public proxies if this is to be done to scale, in their analysis of a site? Just the same?
 
hmmmm interesting idea, although you might be better off just trying to increase your rankings and driving more traffic then putting a video on your landing page to improve time on site
 
I can do it myself but i am pretty sure google can determine whether it is bot or not :)
 
creating the bot is one thing.
clicking the search results is an other..
hasn't G deindexed the websites for doing that already? (sry can't find resouces for that nowm.. if i find it i post it here)

they where trying to fool G with a high CTR, that should make it look like their results where OH SO relevant. ( as far as i remember)
I don't know if they used different IPs though.

i don't think you have a site taht is THAT large... you might just try it and report back.

A lot of people seem to miss this part about SEO and backlinks...you may have 1000s of backlinks, but don't you get more of a benefit if your referrer-to-backlink ratio is pretty close. Obviously it's not going to be 1, but I never ever seen that mentioned here.
 
I thought about making one but I just see that more productive thing to do with your time is get people to stay on longer naturally. I don't want to have to run a bot everyday to keep the stats up.
 
I've created a bot to do exactly as said...proxy, search query grab dynamic link and access the link between 4-8 minutes. As you willl notice when you switch proxies and clear cache the link changes. My result, this will not work with proxies It needs to have some sort of user controlled query.. If your running a huge bnet you might be able to create a bho to do so but that is the only method I think would work....and yes you would dominate seo..analytics wouldnt pick up my proxy hits therefore would not feed google any br data
