Agreed. Although I think some banks have done a huge amount of modernization in recent years. I use ING and their online interface is nothing short of amazing. I can instantly exchange money between my accounts of different currencies, I can pay all my bills with just a couple of clicks and I can even buy top-ups for my mobile phone.
It just pisses me off a bit when I see everyone talking about how amazing Bitcoin is. Truth is, for most people it's not amazing and costs more than a traditional bank would for a lot of the usual day to day actions.
As I see it right now buying Bitcoin is very expensive. Using Bitcoin in a normal real world scenarios (ATM card at stores and so on) is very expensive and there are a ton of associated technicalities and risks that no should really wants to put up with. Just my take on it
