Maybe you will be surprised or find it ordinary, but I came across a situation and I wanted to share it with you. Many of you know that big profits are made with prepaid accounts on Google. However, something that I saw today made me think that this could be something else.
For advertising consultancy, my customers want me to optimize their google ads accounts. Sometimes they ask me to set up new accounts. I have been doing this for years, but recently someone reached me on whatsapp and said that he needed an old account. I offered a nice offer and we agreed. I offered a few accounts that were old and spent 8 - 15K$. I thought he would defraud google by converting them to threshold accounts. After providing a few accounts, one of my customers called me. And he informed me that he received a notification that his "GOOGLE ADS ACCOUNT" was closed. I told him that the account would no longer be used and that I was transferring the account and that I would set up a new account. He was fine with it, but after the notification, my client logged into his google ads account and sent me a screenshot.
It was a screenshot of an ad group that received 10.000$ ad spend and 2000 clicks in 23 hours. I said this is not possible and tried to access the account. After accessing the account, I checked the account directly and the account really had a $10,000 ad in 1 day. I didn't think it was possible for threshold ad accounts to reach such huge amounts, and in my country (Turkey) even promo codes cost at most 150$. How do you think this was possible?
