A BHW members trade services area?

Just curious really.

Basically me and a friend who is also a member on here have an arrangement where I host his website on my dedi (we have an informal agreement) and in return he writes me 4 x 500 word articles a month (basically he provides the content for 1 of my blogs).

I know it would be hard to police this kind of thing but is just a shame it hasn't been done because the biggest hassle for me in outsourcing is finding the right people for the right price and the hassle of payments etc (not to mention paypal taking commissions). We both do better because of it and I bet its surprising how much people will do to avoid the hassle.

What we have is perfect, I don't even notice his website on my server, in return at the end of every month I receive 4 unique articles that I put on my select niche and set to publish weekly.

Works perfectly, I don't need to worry about that blog at all and he doesn't need to worry about his hosting.

....Just got to the end here and realised that it kind of steps on the toes of the JV board. In this however, the exchange of articles for hosting is the extent of our working relationship.

I don't like ths service, never seen it before, and I doubt it will be active, if someone provides a good service here he will make money and using that money he can buy a service, not really worth it imho.

I doubt it will to but just curious what people think as I know it is a bit of a strange arrangement that I have.

If you make an agreement like that it's great, font think it would work in a production environment though, too difficult to manage, As lukab says, you can just as easily sell and buy.

i think there's already a section somewhere under 'The Marketplace' where you can post these kind of threads, at least i can remember seeing threads with "WTT" prefix
