A Belated Hello

Hello everyone,

I joined the site a few months ago as I was interested in a lot of the topics covered about SEO and links etc. So it's a belated hello from me!

I have to say I've been floating through the forum, reading posts etc, and it's opened my eyes to a lot of things. I have always done things by the Google "book". Not buying links, killing myself to get good shareable content, but not reaching the heights I should be - especially after 10 months. It's probably down to my own mistakes, but when you see competitor sites with 9,000 links to it - when they're a web design agency in your town - it's a hard thing to accept really.

But I've seen so many resources on this site, some of which I didn't know existed, and the fact people are here to praise good services and resources and kick out the bad ones, it's an amazing site!

Don't believe everything you see, my 2cents.

And don't try to buy those SEO packages from marketplace unless you know what you're doing.

Constantly test and try.
