Not one obese person in sight.

But what changed you may wonder.

I'll tell you what changed.

Sugar and social media.

Profit margins of the sugar industry along with its fast food constituents since every burger has sugar in it just to name an example.

And social media giving rise to comparisons making you binge eating to avoid and/or cover emotions of not being enough because the other guy at the other end of the world is or does that thing you want.

I think one should check or rather monitor the amount of calories going in. I got into this weird habit of eating some groundnuts with jaggery and it made me put on a few pounds a few months back. Stress eating is yet another factor which many often ignore.

This situation depends entirely on the person's own will. I can be overweight for one month and lose weight the next month, and this is something that is in my hands.

We can see that the 70s were better than the 2020s, in every sense!

Still your own choice to be fat in 99% of the times. Change your eating habits and you will e fine.

And in the past, life and the economy were more challenging than they are now
When life gets better, people will want more for themselves, and they will have to learn to overcome temptation. In the past, even if they wanted to, they couldn't have it

I also think the problem is fast food and food today, not entirely lifestyle.
