I have not done A/B testing yet, but once I achieve a good ranking on Google for my website with some steady traffic, I will definitely try it - then it will be the time for A/B testing and I will try Optimizely, as I've read good things about them.
It's a great idea. On my to do list this year. Some of us need input/advice from a designer because we don't have the creative design skills. I looked at these fairly recently and have been leaning towards VMO. It looks great and easy to use. It's easily worth the money if you can dial in the site for higher conversions.
