A/B Testing in SEO

If I want to A/B test different versions of an SEO landing page (same URL, different content served to users), will this be considered cloaking by Google? And what are the best practices to run such A/B tests without risking SEO penalties?

Totally fine-as long as you’re not trying to pull a fast one on Google by showing search bots something different than real users. Google’s actually cool with UX testing, but you gotta play fair. Just make sure all your test versions are visible to crawlers or stick with showing the original to Googlebot.

You're not talking about cloaking, right? Just testing from different locations? Shouldn't be an issue provided you follow what proxy said about visibility
