9gag download pictures bot

Hi guys,
I have finished a bot which downloads pictures from 9gag.
App has simple gui,where you select where you want to store the pictures and how many you would like to download (10,50,100,200,500,1000,5000).

Optional is also adding a watermark to all of them (you can select the watermark by yourself,text etc.)


I did it in my spare time,just because I was bored. But it works quite nice. Do you think it has a chance to sell (just for really small amount) it for someone,or just to share it for free?

you could sell it for sure, why not sell it for like $5? you would be surprised how many sales you get

It is worth max $15-$20, not more. But the question is: would people buy it, is there people interested in it?

well if he made it just to see if he could make it, and he sells it for $5 he will make a nice little profit!

It could be a helpful tool for sure

Yah there are some people who collects pictures from 9gag and similar kinds of site and then post them to their page or website to get more traffic.

Then he could add even more sources such as imgur, etc and the price would go up a bit :)
 
Your work deserves $$$ mate, just add some more image sources like Facebook, imgur etc IMO. And then sell it.
 
Thanks for ideas. Imgur is also almost done. I will add few more sites,add them to "dropdown" (where user can select what he wants to download). Thanks for ideas.
I will be satisfied even if it would make 1 buck. :)
 
nothing is for free, but a good marketer knows how to sell it. you can give it for free if they subscribe with they e-mail or socialmedia accounts. It's maybe even smarter... you can build a good e-mail list like this and sell them related stuff later and you get attention and trust.:)
 
adding more sources would increase selling chances. There are free facebook, tumblr and similar sites downloader. I doubt ppl will buy it, but if u add some nice features, then they definitely will.... as ppl said, try to add a feature that adds the pics to facebook pages, or twitter pages... that would definitely make me buy.

So I am not sure if you can sell something that is already free, since... a long time ago.

But most people here don't know about these tools or haven't searched for them, so you can try.
