The thing is, how much will they charge for the next year? I have once a domain from Yahoo at $1.99. That's an offer for first time Yahoo customers for only one domain. What they didn't explain anywhere is that the next year and on, you will pay almost $30 for that same domain.
I just transfered it to my other registrar before that first year ended. That second registrar charges around $7.00 for registering domains, but somehow, from the second year and on, it steadily charges $13.95. Anyway, better than Yahoo.

err.. wrong thread perhaps, but I canceled a transfer at godaddy last week and expected them to refund the fee automatically, and now after 3 days of creation of a support ticket, they havent responded. Is my money gone? Is it safe to trust godaddy with my domains?

GoDaddy is offering 99-cent domain name registration for 1 year with code 99BUYCOM. 20-cent ICANN fee applies, making it $1.19 per domain.
Just bought a domain from GD, could'nt get the coupon to work, is this just a US promotion?
