90% people here are poor

I like to pretend I'm rich. I put on a monocle and tophat and twirl a cane around.
I've never actually been around real rich people, so I like to imagine them as the Monopoly Man.

That's nice. I used to mess around with MIT App Inventor :D Had a bunch of app ideas...but I guess my creativity died somewhere along the way

MIT App Inventor^^ ? It's not for creating apps, it's for clickin apps from templates. Not so big control and flexibility ;)
Hovewer, I am looking for some income outside Play Store for just safety. Better to have 3-5 income sources and then I can say "i am finnancial free" :)

I mean if somehow Amazon fails, Instagram change rules, Shopify bankrupt, 90% of this forum is going to the shithole

You're mixing up traffic gen sources with monetization methods. Monetization sources(like the one listed by you) are still dependant of traffic gen, hence, you'll still have to abide to google/instragram/fb etc.

So everyone gets fucked up.

giving people some value

There's enough value shared here. Take hasa's threads about content services for example.

The other examples are pretty much rehash from older threads, so you already have enough stuff shared anyway.

Yes, you have right but it's very hard here to find some inspiration when 99% focus on Amazon, Instagram, Facebook Ads, sometimes Youtube or Aliexpress ;) and the "gods" of these services are making 10k euro / month (they are like unicorn in this mass).
I've not found any guy who made a solid business (software, shop, ad network, own ebooks, good apps, affiliate website non for amazon). Just IM/Facebook spaming with CPA or Amazon. I am digging, maybe ill find some inspiration ;)

Unfortunately, a lot of people are just looking for the easy money thinking it's 10 years ago. So, they just read to see what's the quickest (and easiest) way to make money. If someone posts a thread about FB, Insta, everyone jumps on board. Same thing happened back in the day of the "Rank And Make Bank" era.

Any business/industry usually almost always follows the 80/20 rule. 20% of the people are making 80% of the money. Here is just another example.

Why don't you be the innovator and start a discussion/thread/journey about it? I know you came here to find inspiration but as you know it's not going to be easy.

What I would do since you deal with apps is create an app and start your own "movement." Convince people it's the best thing ever. Once you get the momentum going, people will follow you, you'll have people making products and services based off your product but it doesn't matter to you because all the money funnels down into your bank account.

@vinku, aiming high is really great. I respect that. Why do you have need to bash other's people goals? Do you really care how much they earn? There are plenty of people that earn a lot, but more they earn, less likely they will share it. Lurking for grand unique business models and execution is not gonna work for BHW.

There is very simple psychological reason why earning threads attract poor people:

Rich people don't seek approval, they are busy making money, they value their time. Closer to ceiling someone is, less useful information they can get from public forum like this. They grind, they don't fool around.
Poor people tend to inflate their earnings, brag, and appear successful, because they don't get much attention, respect or fame in RL. They crave admiration, they want their opinion to be heard, advice taken. They have plenty of free time, because they don't know how to utilize it effectively.
All that considered, "rich" from earning threads are often just making stuff up, sometimes they edit their earnings and screenshots. Some are honest, and show things as they are. And real rich mind their own business. And when real rich speaks, you'll know, because every word they say resonate with truth and makes sense.

You know why ;) I don't want to have 100 000 marketers in my niches ;) For now, there are 400 000 android developers in play store. Making open journeys is suicide and yes, I feel competition now. Mobile I think, 2-3 years good for indie developers and need to find another source of income. Maybe desktop apps but idk yet.

When I've read threads like
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/how-much-money-did-you-make-in-2016.904092/page-11
and made some poll, I see that mostly people here are poor.

They are happy when earn some $5-$50 / month, starting own "journey" to ave. Advanced analysis, tables, screenshots, positions and overall income...few bucks.

Scheme is one...Instagram, Facebook, Amazon - repeat x10000 and we have BHW forums ;)
Just one guy from this thread about earnings have $1mln+, why? He have valuable service and created what customers want to have. Rest of you <$10k, some guys <$50k, $100k and more is very rare.

What I don't see on BHW and I wish to have:
-making money with blogs (not crazy PBN^^)
-creating own info-products, ebook creation and sales
-creating own software, advertising, monetizing
-making bigger sites, own products
-niche ideas, business ideas
-more about mobile
-giving people some value :)

But sadly...again thousands of posts about creating Instagram, Shopify, Amazon and Facebook Ads :D

I mean if somehow Amazon fails, Instagram change rules, Shopify bankrupt, 90% of this forum is going to the shithole :D
Maybe you should use the site more, lots of ideas on here. If you're so good then start threads teaching us poor people . Why rubbish other members journeys, all level of earners on here.

There are also regional differences for someone 1k-1.5k is nothing per month. But for some is a decent money!

Whats wrong with facebook?
Automated work
10k$ per month with 2h per day setting everything up
IG? Automated stuff there too 1k$ per month selling shoutouts...
30 mins per day work
Shopify? Facebook ads? Adwords?
Selling some virtual products there and advertising with the abive advertisers with an amazing ROI 3k-5k $ per month
1h per day ads moderation searchin some stuff etc...
You talk like facebook.ig.adwords.cpa
You talk like their networth is worth sh*t...
It took me a god knows what for my knowledges i skipped university 2 years just to follow my dream working searching learning new stuff daily 15h per day in front of a screen....
7 days a week 30 days a month non stop
Not everyone knows where to start...
And for sure in order to make money you need money....
And 15k per year is not poor.. if you know whwt to spend and don't live in a big city with 15k/year you can live great !

This is a great post and is like most other sites in this niche.

I came here for the >$100k players

Hope I can learn and get to >$1m

Yes,the less people rely on advertisers the better but you need quite a bit of experience to start on your own

um, ive made money from blogs, £380 in one month,

As seen here:

I think you felt a bit helpless and insecure, thus created the thread complaining and bashing other people journeys. Not everyone here has the same definition of success as you do, and most are not in a position to invest a lot of money, test, and progress at a rate others expect.

Also, no one has to feel an obligation to share the actual income, or the method they are using to earn it. It is selfish to come here to BHW in search for one more method to diversify your income streams, while not giving back anything to the community.

Every community should be about giving and sharing, not coming when you need a piece of an information or the exact method that will help you earn more.

Even though most journey threads revolve around several things that are popular right now, those same journeys are mostly created by newbies. This does not mean that 90% of the forum members are poor. Far from that, those who are positioned higher on the income scale are not the ones who start journey threads, and most of them are not dumb to share details of their businesses and have everyone involved in it.

yes ... poor ..
if people starts to earn $1M/year then also poor ... reason ? there will be someone who is earning $100m :p

nobody is poor .. and you said what if they fail .. shopify, insta etc ... people will find another way ... struggle for existance .

i think op is earning big bucks/day .. he/she has proper guts i guess

In some countries making a few bucks a day is all you need to feel like a baller. Not everyone here is from the west and their pennies are like our dollars. At least to them

You are so right. Where I come from, if you earn $10 daily you will be very comfortable.

im sure there's plenty of guys here who make over 100k, mainly doing in-house or working with one client only

I am not rich. But I have a very steady income, my apartment, my two cars, solid savings, 45 days per year bagpacking Europe since I love travelling, meeting new people. Im doing IM since 2004, so you join the dots. My business, my job: I'm a Black Hatter. Internet Marketeer. It took me long years to master some points and techniques. Most people land here waiting for magical formulas; easy tasks.

Not only for Internet Marketeers but for all aspects of life: no pain, no gain.

I don't give a shit for affiliates, dropshipping etc. I love to conquer niches -- buying and selling websites and traffic - the best way to make your steady income.
