As per several report 90% Google's search traffic dropped down recently.
In this situation, which strategies are you following, guys.

Share your thoughts on it so that community people might be helped.

Dude, you mean Google's market share in the search market went below 90% right?
 
This cannot be correct. There can be drop but 90% is not possible.
 
While there's no evidence of the claim, what he said should not be twisted.

Google search traffic to website is different from Google search volume (search market share)

People still use Google like before, it's just that they're not clicking on ranked pages to websites, but get satisfied with in depth AI contents to their queries.

While Google still commands a dominant share of the search market, the recent decline is significant.

according to neil patel , googles hold on engine search is slowly dying . i believe what you need to focus you on is AEO , artificial inteligence engine optimisation . get your company ranked on AI's like chat Gbt

why not? Nothing is infinite and immovable. And google's hegemnony had gone for too long. In the coming years you will see a lot of today's fads disappear, so brace yourself for the chance :)

it won't! Google's era is gone, it will only get worse for them from hereon out...
 
Yes, I’ve seen the news about Google traffic dropping. It’s a bit worrying, but it’s also a sign to explore other ways. I’m now focusing more on building my brand on social media.

Yeah, Google’s updates have hit hard lately. I’m currently focusing on diversifying traffic (Pinterest, Reddit, YouTube), building an email list, tightening up content quality, and still doing selective guest posts and niche edits. Adapting quickly seems to be the only way forward.
 
I've noticed that my niches on websites are falling less and less every day, I've moved to YouTube and Tiktok, it seems that people are now looking for more audiovisual content than just text.
 
I don't think so.
Google is king and will be for sure.
Just taking sometimes to fix it.

Every incident has two sides Good side & Bad side.
I am waiting for the good one: Google will be more flexible for providing traffic as well as ranking websites.
Hope for the best.
 
Last time I checked it is actually steadily increasing. The game is far from over. The question is are you a player or a spectator.

I have understood that we need other sources of traffic also. Social media traffic can be one way.
 
Googles share was around 89.5 % during the end of 2024 and has remained below 90% into 2025
But 90% is still huge market share
