90% engagement drop

So Guys I started working on this account few months ago.. Currently at 15k followers .

I was having a sweet ride , 8k - 13k likes on all my post!.

Fast forwarding to late December my engagement dropped drastically I hard get 1k likes right now .
After 9hours of my recent post I got just 120likes

I have not been shadow Ban!
I don't buy likes
I don't buy followers
I Grew this accounts naturally no bots

Please Guys what could be Wrong?
I need help!

8k+ likes for 15k followers is hell of a sweet ride! Congrats to that if it was organic.

Was it during the holiday? There was a slight drop during it but 90% is a lot. I've got some drops in the past too before it went back even better that before. Also with just organic traffic/new followers. Maybe one post was not right for your audience and it dropped, and your ER went down. Or something with your hashtags. I just focused on posting on what the audience might want and like and it all went back up at that time. There is some kind of momentum to get back up. I would focus on posting the best thing you can find for them until one breaks and the following ones will still be high.

Did you post consistently?
Do you use hashtags?

I feel like i was getting 200+ likes on a sub 1000 followers account, now its around 130. So yeah,after new years it dropped.

Same here. I have 9.4k followers and I get maybe 200 likes after 9 hours. Significant lower then it used to be. Hopefully they change it back because if it stays like this there is no point for me to use instagram anymore. They only show my pictures to a small percentage of my followers. I think this will be the turning point for instagram. Lots of people will quit because they see no increase anymore unless they pay for ads.

I think the only wrong thing i have done is using the same hashtags...
I do this cause i feel does hashtags help ny post boost

The deop is just too low!!.

I find it hard to even post any longer due to this low engagement. .
