Can anyone tell me whats wrong? it's monetized but why so low?
Is it something to do with the length of the video? The video is 51 secs long is that the reason?
It's still getting views but only $3.83? :/ thats ridiculous for those views

It is possible, because it is short and there are not so many advertisers. I think so.
 
Niche, Time of year, and amount of competition for ad space are involved. Also, people in large niches for tech and sports use ad blocker, but im sure you aren't uploading to those niches, right?
 
Are those real views or mostly botted? I usually earn that amount for every 1k views on YT
 
Many users have used adbloack and adblock plus.

It makes google and microsoft developer demanding adblock.

But the trial in Germany to legalize the use adblock.

Google and Microsoft was forced to pay adblock developers to create adsense ads running on their network.
Or whitelisted.

Ad networks such as bidvertiser, infolink, and adstar.
Auto ads will be blocked if they do not pay some money to the developer adblock

My ad was also down 75%



This is worrying because there will be many new alternatives adblock, adblock derivative software will exist and create new problems
 
Whoever made AdBlock sucks, was it a humanitarian effort to prevent those oh so long 30 seconds ads and save the precious time of YouTube cat compilation video viewers? Or are they actually making money from it?

I can imagine AdSense on their website.
 
Views are real
Before i was parterned with freedom but it was too low and equal to no earning then I parterned with Bent Pixels
Niche is not software or computer related.
Is it because of short video because it show only 4k+ views got monetized (in ad performance)?
How long video has to be to earn on each view? possibly?
 
You need to monetize your videos at the beginning without that it wont be giving you money go to "Creators Studio" Video manager and click that small Money sign button then you should be there :) and wait for people to watch your videos then you should be earning views

What the users said above is definitely very true. Also you can look into other ad networks outside of the normal Youtube one.
 
It could be that your video is short. How long is it?
 
You need minutes watched. Your video being less than a minute is not good. Also all views are not created equal so US views might pay more than say UK views.
