is there a niche that this is themed around? i just started a facebook page for a particular niche and the goal is to monetize that by promoting affiliate offers or CPA stuff.

How many times are you spamming your site a day.hey, i currently have 800,000 fans and im making around 30 pound a day is this any good? if not what should i be earning with this? and do you have any other advice on what route to go down with these fans?

Here are some tips.
Example suppose you have a 100k page, if you do updates every 30 minutes you will be yielding more money per day because your update will appear on their newsfeed every 30 minutes and that way it will show to basically almost 100% of all of your friends online that day. Doing it this way is a fast way to loot your site and get everything you can before you get banned.
Now if you only do 2 updates every day you are yielding way less money but you are not being as spammy. So its also just matter of how good your cpa page is and how many times you are doing the status update.Hence the equation
Content + traffic = $$$
cpa page + number of updates on 1 single page = $$$
The more you do a post on your page the more traffic you will get.
So in conclusion if you have a 100k page and someone else is doing a lot more than you and has the same size page as you , dont freak he might be spamming it more than you.But if this isnt the case ,then most likely you annoyed your users and they hid your page from their newsfeed or they just dont care about your page.

If so, my advice is make yourself famous quick so they think it's a real account with "real" friends. You know . change your name to Stephen Fry or something.
'Cause if you are Nobby Nobody with almost a million followers - especially if you sometimes spam marketing guff.... they are watching you...
Facebook have a system that looks at all accounts with over 5000 "friends", Twitter looks at 25,000+ "followers". Youtube 5000+ "subscribers"
