I see great potential in this. Yesterday I bought a good domain and then made a good looking *fake* site. The whole site is just images (fake links and fake navigation) within a simple HTML table, and a couple paragraphs of relavent text so that the ad network can show relavent ads.
I threw ONE ad up on craigslist and in about 16 hours I've received 46 UV to my website. So, I will estimate small and say 50 UV per ad per 24 hours. Everything is designed for maximum CTR including the craigslist ad and also the position of ads on my website. So, I am estimating that with 20 ads up at any given time then I would be receiving around 1,000 UV per day.
I wanted to avoid using adsense, so right now I am testing both adbrite and bidvertiser and both of their ads are absolute junk that have nothing to do with the niche. I might try Kontera next. I know that the CPC from any ad network will be lower than adsense, but I would at least like to find an ad network that has contextually relavent ads. I might end up going the adsense route, who knows, but my adsense account has been used for 100% whitehat stuff for the past several years and I would like to keep it like that. I could use my wife's account but of course we have the same address and bank account. I'm not sure if G would link that account to mine if anything ever went wrong.

Thanks for sharing this method.
I am surprised however at how many people on this thread see only potential problems
and reasons why this wont work.
I personally visit BHW to find out how to get around the roadblocks that could potentially prevent my success.

Where do you buy Craigslist accounts, and how exactly do you post ads there?
I tried this long time ago, but no ad went live. I am not sure if problem were proxies or something else.

You can try this for the PVA. You may need an IP solution but if you use proxies, they're not going to last...
My guess is your adsense ads are not reflecting foreclosure/real estate. Those have a higher CPC. The remedy would be adding some relevant content...

So I've finally got around to trying this. I'm only on day 2 so far of actually running ads and today I've made $14.69 with this method (7 hours to go til the day is over). This is with only 10 live ads (5 from last night and 5 from the night before). The CTR on my site is up to 11%. I'm hoping it stays below 15%. So far, so good. Over $1.00 per day per live ad. After 15 days of posting 5 ads per day, I will have 75 live ads up so this could scale up quite quickly.
I'll definitely be hoping that adsense pays without banning me, so we'll see what happens at the end of July. Also, I've been doing nothing special for posting to craigslist. The first night, I used one email address for 5 ads (didn't use a proxy or a PVA), and the second night I used a second email address for all 5 ads (again, no proxy or PVA). I don't even have to sign in to an account to post these ads, nor do I have to even fill out a captcha. Will this change on me eventually? And will my ads start getting ghosted if it detects that the same IP is posting 5 ads per day? I've been only posting to my general area within a couple hundred miles.

Can someone please explain why PVA's are needed for this? Like I said in my previous post, I've only been trying this for 2 days (today is my 3rd day) and I'm already at $20 per day with just 5 ads per day. The thing is, I don't have to log in to a CL account to post these ads (I don't even have to fill out a captcha). I haven't changed my IP address either. I'm thinking that my ads MIGHT start getting ghosted since I haven't changed my IP, but even then, I could just change my IP, make sure my cookies are cleared, and post new ads. I still wouldn't see the point of having to use PVA's.

You may not be ghosting yet but you will if you keep it up. Thats the point in PVAs.
