Grate post , I had a idea that was about the same awhile ago but never took any action. Im about to give it a try and post back how its going

I did not get accepted by google adsense, as for the alternatives that u listed cody are there any that u get automatically accepted for?

That is so true. Everyone always thinks small picture. Big picture is what takes a $100 idea and turns it into a $1M idea!

Now $800/mo is a nice little piece of adsense revenue. Especially if you build up 10 sites you are making more than the top 5% in the US. But if you can charge for listings, upgrades, etc... hell charge users to search your "exclusive" list. Charge the listing agents per contact (or lead).

You can go from $800 a month to $5000+ easily if you can SEO properly.

Good point to make is that if you offer upgrades, and make that the focus on your site, even with a low rate, it will increase legit AS clicks. ADsense BH IS ofteten just to mkae the AD seem more valuable thatn your site (impulse wise).

Great share TY

I like the idea. However what comes to my mind is: Imagine that admins of CL (or whatever other portal where we post) notice that there are users who continue to make posts linking to a site with ads. Not some massive spamming, let's say just 1-2 posts every day. The admins don't like our posts for whatever reason and ban our account, then our another account, then other... and finally they report to our advertising company that on their portal someone constantly inappropriately promotes (spams) this and that site. How much would Google/AdBrite/... care about their complains? How likely it is they cancel our account? Sure if they finally cancel it, I can go and use another advertising company but still... is it likely to happen?

You mine me asking what size ads you created to fit so nice at the top of your page? It looks quite legit and it fits the site nice.
Thanks!

I guess everything is possible thinking that way...

It doesn't matter. Be creative. Make your own landing page. Plus, there are soooo many real estate site out there you can copy. My OP was just an example...

Hmmm. Quite interesting. Will check this out with a different thing.

Ok, so I started this last night--still in real estate but with a twist. Already have made some cash. Anyone interested in a 30 day report on how this method worked for me and different things I implemented? Or does anyone care?

I'm pretty sure CL does not accept redirection and/or shortening link. (and affiliate URL for that matter). Test this by yourself.

Yes they do allow it. Just used two different ones last night and this morning. :)

You can definitely use this method for more than just real estate.

For example you can sign up for Indeed.com's affiliate program and then just publish a job feed for a specific industry. Just like adsense you get paid per click.

You could use this method or a variation as just one small way to drive traffic and revenue early on in a long term, legitimate website's development.

You could even put up CL ads about having a big estate sale, list a few cool items in the ad and then drive them to a page with a bunch of ebay affiliate listings.
