So do you blank the referrer?
So do you blank the referrer?
I just had a wicked idea..
Have you tried a content locker for the landing page? Make money there, then make more when they click the ads (if the CL doesn't make them bounce). I also don't know if adsense would be happy with that.
Sounds good in theory.
Yeah, it was an idea. I may try it, been wanting to try out a content locker (just need to find one I'd want to use lol). Or your way with adsense, although I'm going to twist it to try apartments instead. Spent about 4 months this year literally searching CL everyday for an apartment. Might as well use that experience to good use, haha.I'd rather go with leaving people clicking where they want instead of forcing them with verbage. Maybe you could try with adbrite and see how your idea goes...

Hopefully well. The big question mark will be if CL lets me post in the apartment section. CL can be odd. Can get a gig in the writing section to stick easily, in the computer gig section I haven't had any make it past ghosting.
A concern. Do you find your ads can be flagged quick after people have gone to visit your website and found it to be no good?
Thanks.
I hate those people. I've had totally white hat ads, following all of CL rules, posted just in my area for services I provide, flagged.Yes, unfortunately. That's a biggie with the self-proclamed CL sheriff who spend their day flagging while waiting for their government check like parasites...They are plenty of them in the CL forum...

Anyway.. to combat that, I have people email me for more information. Then delay the response (take note CL newbies). Works for jobs and products. I imagine that should translate over for housing too.
And put a little note at the bottom, telling them they can unscribe to comply with law? hehe
I'm just new to BH, so the whole "spamming is a federal crime" thing has me a bit nervous. And I'm not sure using HideMyAss would cover my tracks if someone really wanted to find me lol. Also no idea if "they" would care if I'm not doing massive spam.Exactly. Any unsubscribe BS will do, even if the link goes nowhere. This is BH![]()

Do keep us up to date!Exactly what I was thinking. I already set the site up with content locker pro, with let you guys know how it goes.
Hey, this seems very interesting. I am from the UK - can this work for me?

I do have quite a few emails. You can get a ton cheap on Fiverr for LinkedIn contacts, which are all mostly live emails. Or heck.. maybe an autroresponse "Hello, there are so many bots replying on CL nowadays, this is an automated response to stop them. Please optin here to prove you're a real person and we'll get back to you once we've processed your request."
Might lower your numbers, but gives you a completely white hat list to send offers to.

Cody, oh my gosh.. I just copied the code from an Apartment site, it looks EXACTLY like it, and I've just got a wonderful idea that twists this. Hopefully will have results in a few days.
Question: Do you make these with cheap domains and throw them away or try to keep the website up for an extended amount of time? I'm definitely copyrighting with this method and I imagine in their logs it'll show their images are being used by me lol.
