800 clicks and 3 purchases - How is it?

    Hello I'm trying to promote an affiliate amazon product.
    I get 800 clicks on affiliate links and 3 purchases so far... How is this ratio for an amazon review site? Is it good?

    And guess what? I hate seeing this USELESS answer every time.
    Not everyone are able to know what is a decent ratio if they are in their first step with seo.

    The fact you made 3 sales means your on some sort of path but, I will be honest your lack of detail makes it difficult to advise you.

    Are you spamming social media? If so I would say you need more accounts lol. 100- 250 clicks per sale personally is around my average. If it went over that it normally meant I had the wrong traffic source and doesn't really convert at all. My focus tends to be selling Business services calls instead of CPA offers though. So What did it cost you to get your current 800 visits a month and how would it be cost effective to invest in doubling it. Is it even possible for you to double your traffic on a budget or do you not have a plan capable of that? Have you tested variations of your current ads? I mean there is a million things to test.

    Depends a lot on the product(s), too, lower priced items people usually buy spontaneous are different from high end electronics with a $XXXX price tag....but overall 3 sales from 800 clicks to Amazon from non-blind review site traffic is really bad. That's less than 0.5%.

    We need more information to go by, like the traffic source and average cost of items. Then we could move on to other factors possibly affecting the CR, such as placement of links and site layout.

    It is less that even 0,8% so it's not good at all. A good conversion rate is from 0.9% to 1,30%. Everything above 1,30% is awesome.

    I think that it's depend on how much money did you make from this 3 sales ! I think they call it ROI :)

    yeah depends on type of product you are selling, usually amazon has much higher CR but if you are selling high priced products(x,xxx) then I think its okay.

    Way too many variables.

    Amazon commission I make is from folks reading my product review on my site, and then clicking through, my average conversion rate for the year is 15.87%. At the end of the day, there are too many variables to tell you what the "normal" CVR should be. If you're spamming your affiliate link around, or doing a poor job in preselling a product, then expect for it to be much lower.
